Chair called the Jan. 28 meeting to order at 3:09 p.m.; board members introduced themselves. Chris Wilson identified himself as a board member and Britney Milton introduced herself as a board member. Cora Phillips (director, county commerce team) and Melissa Jeffers (county staff) were introduced; Pamela Gibson joined as a new board member.
At its Jan. 28, 2026 meeting in Moab (with virtual attendees), the Grand County Economic Opportunity Advisory Board elected new officers, set its 2026 meeting calendar, reviewed the county economic development strategic plan with a heavy emphasis on housing affordability, and voted to recommend up to $50,000 of RCG funds to hire a consultant to negotiate Essential Air Service (EAS) contracts. Deborah McKee (GoEO) also announced a REDI grant opening Feb. 1–15.
