Fayetteville City Active Transportation Advisory Committee met on October 8 to review recent crash reports and enforcement activity, consider a proposed change to the electric scooter ordinance, receive progress updates on several trail/sidewalk projects and a road/trail lighting grant, and review trail-counting data and pilot ideas for counters and bike-lock amenities. Committee members also discussed upcoming term renewals and a November connected-communities workshop; safety concerns about high-speed motorcycles on the Greenway were raised during other business.
