The Planning and Zoning Board of the City of West Miami met Jan. 28, 2026. The board deferred proposed fence-height ordinance amendments to the June meeting, recommended approval of a special-use permit for a two-story residence at 1921 SW 61st Court with a condition banning cooking facilities in a junior suite, and approved two commercial sign permits; most recommendations passed by 5-0 and will go to the City Commission where required.
