Representatives of the Champlain Valley Farmers Coalition told the Agriculture committee they want to be a regular resource for legislation, highlighted their water-quality program that has recorded 13,000 acres of farmer-funded conservation practices, and reviewed priorities in a miscellaneous agriculture bill including right-to-farm language changes, tax and land-definition updates, farm-kitchen and solar protections, and pesticide/seed rules.
