Decatur City work session heard a presentation from youth services about annual events and programs, reviewed multiple rezoning items and set public hearings, and discussed proposed short-term rental ordinance amendments including parking, density caps, a 50-mile agent rule and an implementation date. Council also received updates on budget amendments for garbage carts, tornado siren battery replacements, and council chamber carpet and seating.
