Coldwater City Council on Nov. 10, 2025 adopted a policy to stop accepting U.S. Postal Service postmarks to determine timely property tax payments, waived the city's portion of late-payment penalties for a small set of Sept. 16 mailings, and approved several capital and energy agreements including road engineering contracts, a radio purchase, a waste-heat energy agreement and a solar master services agreement.
