At its Oct. 7 meeting, the Everett Planning Commission received a staff briefing on a proposed reorganization and update of the city's critical areas code (chapter 19.37), discussed timing for draft ordinance and hearings, and heard public comments about Wood Creek erosion and buffer standards. Staff said a draft ordinance will be circulated ahead of an anticipated later-fall public hearing and council review.
