Rome Common Council held a regular session in January that included public comment about hazardous snow banks and an extended presentation and vote to authorize up to $70,000 in bonds to install blinds/window treatments at City Hall; the council also approved a package of routine resolutions, leases and transfers and amended a resolution to waive certain court surcharges.
