Chair Lisa Martin opened the meeting at 6:02 p.m., conducted roll call and confirmed attendance of committee members Keenan Francois, Michael Le Bossier, Jackie White, Alexander Bancutti, Lisa Bloom, Kim Craven, Randy Rush and Carla Lima (Carla joined a few minutes after start).
On Jan. 29, 2026 the North Middlesex Regional School District School Committee held a long meeting focused on the possible reopening of Ashby Elementary School, reviewed budget scenarios, heard multiple public commenters, and voted to permanently close Ashby Elementary School (roll-call vote recorded 7–2). The committee also approved the 2026–27 school calendar, adopted several policies (including a revised fiscal-reserve policy), and entered executive session for personnel/negotiations.
