The Senate convened, called the roll, heard an invocation and made several procedural approvals: dispensing readings of the journal, committee reports and bill titles, introduced guests, announced committee meeting times, and approved a motion (by Senator Hawkins) to recess until the last committee report is filed and to adjourn until 10:00 a.m. Tuesday.
