Schererville Town commission held a public meeting and an evening study session on Feb. 2, 2026. The commission approved minutes and several procedural items, then reviewed three development proposals: a two-lot subdivision for R & J Construction/Premier Window Systems (stormwater and sewer access issues), a four-lot residential subdivision for Donna Case (turnaround/cul-de-sac and frontage concerns on 69th Place), and a proposed 60-by-50-foot maintenance building for Gallus Development along U.S. 30; applicants were asked to return with revised plans or measurements.
