The Flower Mound Town Council held a public hearing on a proposal to amend PD 120 to allow a 3‑story, 117,474 sq ft self‑storage (Charcoal Storage) at the NW corner of Flower Mound Road and Old Orchard Lane. After hours of public comment and council discussion about setbacks, height, landscaping and alternate uses, the council failed to override Planning & Zoning by a 3–2 vote; two appointments to the Cultural Arts Commission were approved.
