Aurora Finance Committee held an extended session on Aug. 29, 2024, approving minutes and several resolutions including forgivable loan funding for lead service line replacements, new pricing for water meters, multiple health insurance contract and rate actions centered on Blue Cross Blue Shield, purchase of CCTV for the animal control facility, a $13.8 million phase‑1 financing plan for the Aurora Civic Center Authority (ACA) and a continued discussion on elected officials' compensation.
