Denton City Planning & Zoning met Nov. 19 for a work session and regular meeting to consider a long list of plats and administrative items and to hold a contested public hearing on the 2,500-acre “Craver Ranch / Craver Ranch Municipal Management District” master-planned community. Commissioners approved code and permit items and voted to approve the Craver Ranch comprehensive plan, mobility plan amendment and PD rezoning after extensive public comment and staff presentations; the votes were split on the master-plan items amid concerns about water, roads and leapfrog development.
