Mayor Shapiro called the April 21, 2025 Board of Trustees meeting to order and the clerk conducted roll call; Trustee Metz Childers was absent and a quorum was declared.
The Village of Deerfield Board of Trustees honored the Deerfield High School Warbots for winning the Illinois First Tech Challenge state championship, approved routine appointments and minutes, ratified a vehicle purchase (a Ford Escape plug-in hybrid), agreed to reallocate 2025 volume cap to Buffalo Grove for regional bonding projects, and discussed a water-main break under a local creek that will require directional drilling and follow-up pricing. The board moved into closed session at the meeting's end.
