Harrison City Council met to handle routine city business, heard a community group announce a Sept. 15 volunteer ‘‘Day of Service,’’ approved a set of administrative items (minutes, purchase orders, executive session), voted to request a hearing on a liquor-license application, and adopted an ordinance designating the Harrison Community Improvement Corporation as an agency of the city.
