Joint Standing Committee on Veterans and Legal Affairs held work sessions on three bills: LD 1666 (language review on ranked-choice voting language), LD 13‑65 (adult-use cannabis hospitality lounges) and LD 18‑47 (testing and packaging for medical and adult-use cannabis). The committee worked through technical edits, heard agency testimony and paused for caucus and follow-ups; LD 13‑65 received a majority “ought not to pass” recommendation and LD 18‑47 was tabled for further drafting.
