The City of Austin Historic Landmark Commission met Feb. 24, 2026 and reviewed a staff briefing on a phased downtown density-bonus update, recommended historic zoning for two East Austin properties (2207 E. 22nd St. and the front two rooms of 907 E. 13th St.), approved a certificate of appropriateness for 3710 Cedar St. with conditions, and postponed discussion of the proposed Barton Springs bridge replacement to the March meeting to allow more engineering and funding details to be provided.
