Select Committee on the Comprehensive Plan met on 2025-09-18 to consider roughly 40+ individual amendments to Council Bill 120985 (the Seattle comprehensive plan) and to review related zoning changes in Council Bill 120993. The committee adopted a number of targeted amendments, rejected several high-profile amendments (including an amendment to remove parking mandates and a proposal to add eight neighborhood centers), and referred environmental review work (SEPA) for the committee's package before full council consideration.
