Chair called the Feb. 2 work session to order and conducted roll call; several councilmembers and staff were noted in attendance (Amanda Jackson, Matthew Peebles, Jesse Champ, Lucas Hare).
Canal Winchester City Council met Feb. 2, 2026 (work session then regular meeting). Council moved four resolutions (Miller Farms TIF economic development plan; extension of a cannabis moratorium; intergovernmental agreement for Basil Western Road improvements; lease-purchase of a street sweeper) to full council and adopted them during the council meeting; staff reported on CIP items and public commenters raised cannabis zoning concerns and asked the Council Connect meeting be held at the library.
