The Vinita Utilities Authority and the Vinita City Council met on Feb. 3, 2026. The Utilities Authority approved up to $85,000 for planning and design of a water treatment-plant filter rehabilitation project; the City Council approved $20,000 in rescue-gear purchases funded by a Crescent family donation and adopted a Bank of Oklahoma corporate-card agreement and fee schedule. Several departmental reports and street-bid preparations were discussed.
