The board heard a school spotlight for Bluestem Middle, received a detailed update on advanced academics and gifted-and-talented programs with data on AP/IB/Cambridge/dual-enrollment growth and remaining representation gaps, reviewed preliminary budget projections in light of a state aid calculation error, approved the legislative committee's recommended positions on bills, heard one public comment about bereavement policy, and moved into a closed session for negotiations and legal advice.
