The Mount Pleasant City Council met Feb. 3, 2026. The meeting opened with an executive session, followed by a regular session that included public comment alleging asbestos and safety violations at a Walmart, several unanimous votes on routine items and financial reports, debate and tabling of a commercial-trash ordinance, adoption of updated building codes, and an approved zoning amendment for Anderson Crossing.
