Fairfax City Planning Commission held its regular meeting and work session on Monday addressing proposed zoning text amendments (ADU occupancy, special-use permit thresholds, animal-care rules and other clarifications), a pre-application briefing for a mixed‑use redevelopment at Fairfax Square, and the 2025 City of Fairfax Factbook review. The commission recommended the zoning amendments to City Council and heard public comment from a GMU student.
