Atascadero Unified School District board heard sustained public comment from teachers, union representatives and parents urging the board to pass cost-of-living adjustments and address staffing and retention. Trustees approved several administrative items including a search contract for an assistant superintendent, a board governance handbook, a revised job description and a routine resolution to release temporary certificated employees.
