Emmaus Borough Council met Feb. 2, 2026, and heard a petition to vacate a short, unimproved portion of Perkiomen Street to support an apartment project, accepted a $120,000 equipment donation to the fire department, approved several land-development resolutions and routine motions (all votes reported 7-0), and adopted a payer-of-last-resort agreement with Lehigh Valley Health Network to improve ambulance-transport collections.
