City of Santa Cruz Planning Commission considered a Coral Street overlay rezoning (consent item) including capacity and height limits tied to state shelter-bed planning requirements, and reviewed ordinance amendments to replace certain fee waivers with fee deferrals to speed affordable housing projects. Both items will go to City Council in March.
