Mayor (presiding) called the Glendale Common Council into session, led the Pledge of Allegiance and asked the clerk to call the roll; a quorum was announced.
Glendale Common Council considered creating a new S-2 Special Institutional zoning district to allow community based residential facilities (CBRF) and a companion rezoning for 7007 N. Rangeline Road, heard public comments from neighbors and the applicant, then voted to reject the zoning text amendment. The council also approved final payment to a contractor with conditions, passed several budget and project amendments, approved a solar feasibility change order for the police station, affirmed a police immigration policy resolution, and went into closed session for the city administrator's annual review.
