Brighton Town Council held its August meeting where members adopted stage 2 fire restrictions, approved an updated town fee schedule, and discussed special-event permitting, stormwater inspection fees, and public-safety updates including a new fire battalion and roadway utility work. Staff from Solitude Mountain Resort and MSD gave project and permitting updates; council moved into a closed session at the end of the meeting.
