Taneytown mayor and city council met Dec. 8, 2025. The council introduced an amendment to the fences and walls ordinance, discussed possible changes to industrial zoning to address data centers and battery storage, debated downtown parking meter options, approved routine financial items and a personnel leave buyout for a duty-related injury, and received department and council reports.
