The Virginia House of Delegates convened Feb. 9, 2026 for morning hours, approved ceremonial resolutions, advanced and passed large blocks of bills across policy areas (housing, education, environment, judiciary), and engrossed House Bill 29 (the revised biennial budget/caboose bill) including amendments that add a temporary redistricting measure to be decided by voter referendum on April 21, 2026.
