Chair Robert Chase called the meeting to order, confirmed three committee members were present (Robert Pearman, Leonard Manoukian, Robert Chase) and reviewed remote meeting procedure and public-comment rules under revisions to Senate Bill 143 (effective 09/13/2023). He explained roll-call voting for motions and the public-comment process.
The California Architects Board Enforcement Committee met remotely to review enforcement updates, staffing and subject-matter expert recruitment, website outreach (new videos and forms), citation statistics, and several strategic objectives including fines, planning-department licensure verification, AI/electronic-stamp issues, business-entity reporting, and training. The committee approved the May 8, 2025 minutes and recommended staff report/objective for the business entity report form to the full board.
