At the Nov. 13, 2025 meeting of the Albany Utility Board, members approved several vendor contracts (digester cleaning, aerial chipper truck, security cameras, ready-mix and heavy equipment recommendations), received a detailed AMI deployment update with meter counts and potential legal action for noncompliance, and heard grant and infrastructure updates including a $2 million award for substation upgrades.
