The Social Services Appropriations Subcommittee met Feb. 9, 2026 to review the chair's proposed budget reduction and funding priority lists, hear two-plus hours of public testimony on early intervention, Medicaid rates, mental health, oral health and related programs, and to vote on a set of motions that finalize prioritized ongoing, one-time and opioid-settlement funding recommendations to the Executive Appropriations Committee.
