Chair called the meeting to order, confirmed the meeting was properly noticed and recorded, and staff called the roll. Chair Kasama, Vice Chair Schlottman, Commissioners Rogan, Taylor, DeSalvio and LeBeau were present; commission declared a quorum.
The City of Las Vegas Planning Commission met to consider amendments to the master plan (a new transit-oriented development overlay), park renovations including a proposed skate park at Wildwood Park, and numerous variances and land-use requests. The commission approved the TOD overlay as amended, authorized the Wildwood Park renovation including a skate park with a six-month administrative review, and acted on a series of variances and waivers; several items were held to the March 10 meeting.
