Ithaca Common Council and Committee of the Whole held an evening meeting on Feb. 11 focused on departmental overviews, housing strategy and zoning work, updates on short-term rental implementation, public safety briefings, and sustainability initiatives. Council heard presentations from outside consultants (Bonadio Group), Planning & Development, Police and Fire departments, and the Sustainability team; a $474,000 bond authorization for a green hydrogen project was forwarded to the March voting meeting.
