The City of Sonoma Climate Action Commission opened its regular meeting, approved the agenda, elected David Morrell as chair and Tom Conlon as vice chair, reviewed 2025 climate strategy accomplishments and proposed a 2026 work plan, formed new ad hoc committees (education/community involvement/outreach, metrics, and climate adaptation), and discussed the draft General Plan safety element focused on flooding, wildfire evacuation and resilience.
