Chair Amber Cameron opened the Feb. 10 work session at 6 p.m., welcomed attendees (including an All Saints Scouts troop), and called roll; several district directors and board members were introduced by name.
Lakeville Area Schools board work session on Feb. 10, 2026 covered a proposed change to how the board reviews policy (sunsetting the policy committee in favor of full-board review and greater use of the consent agenda); a wellness-policy review including legal advice on parent-notification for student interviews and hazing/search procedures; the district's required participation in the state Achievement and Integration program and the draft 2026'029 plan and budget; a revised district budget update including a planned LTFM bonding and a potential $800,000 internal-service shortfall; and board procedures, communications and data-dashboard governance.
