The Cherokee Nation Rules Committee met Dec. 15, 2025. The attorney general reported that the Nation has filed federal litigation asserting hunting and fishing rights; the committee ratified that litigation and approved a limited waiver of sovereign immunity tied to a Native American Agriculture Fund grant agreement. Members also heard revenue, gaming audit, HR and FOIA reports and amended the agenda.
