Chair opened the meeting, called the roll (Board member Belton, Kavani, Chair Gibbs present; Chair Pro Tem Ganon absent; Board member Weil expected later), led the Pledge of Allegiance, and explained the hearing procedure (public communications, consent calendar, ex parte disclosures, applicant presentations, public hearing times and appeals).
Laguna Beach Design Review Board met Feb. 12, 2026 to consider a full agenda of residential design-review and coastal permit items. The board approved multiple design-review projects (including 152 Macaulay Place, 968 Delmar Avenue, 31982 Virginia Way, 1025 Cortez Avenue, 2360 San Clemente Street and 31886 Hillside Lane), continued two contentious projects (490 Hillage Drive to 04/23/2026 and 35 North Lucinda/La Cinda to 03/26/2026), and handled several procedural items including a continuance of 325 Holly Street to 02/26/2026.
