At its Sept. 24, 2025 action meeting, the Cedar City Council swore in two new police officers, heard a lengthy public comment about an improvised explosive device and the police response, approved a zone/general-plan change for property near 3000 North Canyon Ranch Drive contingent on a north–south access dedication, adopted several ordinances and budget and investment resolutions, and adjourned to a closed session.
