At its February meeting, the Walker County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved a rezoning to allow Rock City Enterprises to pursue a $30,000,000 gondola project, approved nearly $170,000 in immediate courthouse remediation after tests found mold, asbestos and lead-based paint, and heard updates on housing permits, the elections office relocation, and a landfill recycling improvement.
