Barnstable County Commissioners met Feb. 11, 2026. The board approved an emergency $50,000 appropriation to pay private tug services for harbor ice breaking and mobilization, advanced FY27 budget ordinances for introduction to the Assembly of Delegates, designated the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod as the official county arts agency, and approved a supplemental appropriation to seek renewed Clean Water Trust funds for septic and sewer-connection lending. Commissioners also discussed a request from Harwich about a potential Cape Cod Commission review of a 40B project and broader concerns about 40B authority and growth on the Cape.
