Davis County School District board workshop: administrators presented a year-end review of the district's early learning plan (math and literacy results and goals) and described a revised process for reviewing and approving novels and other instructional/supplemental materials under SB 55 (2023). Board members asked clarifying questions about school-level vs. district-level approvals, classroom libraries, parental notification and alternatives.
