At its annual organizational meeting the City of Fairfax School Board elected Carolyn Pitches as chair and Christina Sasseri as vice chair, approved its 2025–26 meeting schedule and member salaries, named liaisons and committee representatives, and approved employment contracts for several senior staff including appointing Dan Phillips acting superintendent effective 2025-08-01.
