The legislative committee held a multi-hour work session to review the Finance Authority of Maine (FAME) under the State Government Evaluation Act, conduct quasi‑independent entity reviews (FAME and Maine State Housing Authority), reconsider and advance LD2143 (shoreland zoning definition) after FEMA/MOCA raised flood‑insurance concerns, and amend and pass LD2149 (mobile home parks/manufactured housing communities) with a set of exemptions and technical changes. Committee members also approved drafting several committee bills from prior workgroup recommendations.
