Los Angeles City ad hoc committee on unarmed crisis response heard updates from the City Administrative Officer and the mayor’s office, received a status report on the Unarmed Model of Crisis Response (UMCR) and the CIRCLE program, and voted to make UMCR permanent and to pursue consolidation steps with CIRCLE toward a citywide unarmed response system.
