The Baltimore City delegation Alcoholic Beverage Subcommittee met Feb. 16, 2026, to hear three liquor-related bills: House Bill 1425 (requested by the Baltimore City Liquor Board) to eliminate an arbitrary Sept. 30 special-Sunday application deadline and align personal-property tax deadlines with renewal; a technical amendment to preserve the Pimlico liquor license during reconstruction; and House Bill 998, which allows a nonprofit to accept donated alcohol for an event at the convention center, revives a BD-7 license on Eastern Avenue and approves a license move for Culinary Architecture. All three bills were moved and approved by the four-member subcommittee and will be sent to the full city delegation for Friday’s hearing.
