The Lincoln County Board of Education met in regular session on Jan. 20, 2026, at 6 p.m. at the Central Office in Hamlin. The meeting featured a presentation from Hamlet PK-8 Principal Lori Huffman on enrollment, attendance, test scores and facility needs, and the board approved routine minutes, consent items, policies, bills, financial requests and personnel actions (one member recused).
