Valley County officials and residents discussed a proposal to run periodic recycling drop-off events using roll-off bins (four-sort combo units) at Armstrong Park, and raised concerns about whether local recycling is actually being processed or sent to landfill/incineration. Staff were asked to contact Lakeshore and a county contact named Terry to check vendor logistics and feasibility and to schedule a follow-up meeting (tentatively the 9th).
